This 4-9 week class is offered for students interested in Art and Creating. Each class will focus on a new style and approach to DRAWING. This is a drawing focused class- mediums used pencil, marker, charcoal, pastels, color pencil, etc…all dry mediums.

Classes are replaced with Summer Art Camps June - August and will resume in September.
An in depth class built for studying the human form. Students will use charcoal, graphite, and ink to build value and understand proportion with our instructor’s guidance specifically in observational drawing style. NO Experience Required!

A study in Illustrative Art. Learn how to use marker, ink, and colored pencils in unison for blending and adding depth to work. We will be using professional grade markers and colored pencils. NO experience needed.

Portraiture is the focus of these 8 weeks. We will take a look at each individual facial feature - eyes, nose, mouth, hair to have a firm understanding before completing a portrait of your choice! A lesson in sketching pencils, blenders, etc will be included. NO experience needed.

Observational drawing and the study of light and shadow using oil pastels is this month’s focus. Students will grow in their understanding of how to draw from life instead of an image (first) all while using this bold medium. Paint with pastels and enjoy the vibrancy of color and smooth texture!
